The Tracking Cube

The Tracking Cube is a culturally responsive approach to screening, diagnosing and monitoring neurodevelopment that helps identify disorders such as FASD, ADHD, Autism in primary healthcare.

We took the comprehensive neurodevelopmental assessment that specialists do and broke it into 6 parts. We found out that non-specialists could do 5 of 6 parts. Then we built the digital infrastructure to stitch those parts back together, so that the specialists could receive the information they need to make diagnostic decisions faster. Children can be supported within 6 months, rather than waiting 3 years to see a paediatrician. They are diagnosed faster and supported sooner.

But it is so much more than a pathway to diagnosis. It is a developmental monitoring system, that enables community to track, monitor and support children, even when a diagnosis is not needed. This ensures that no child is left behind, and all children get the support they need when they are not-on-track. Because we don’t need a diagnosis to start supporting our children.

How it works

The Tracking Cube links evidence-based neurodevelopmental screening with risk and protective factors as well as parent/teacher concerns to provide a holistic understanding of at-risk children.

Its digital infrastructure summarises patient data from multiple sources and provides auto-generated referral and report templates to assist triage and support decisions.

A key benefit of the Tracking Cube is that it works for kids of all ages, not just for 0-6 years.
